As a journalist, visionary, activist, entrepreneur, and spirit-being, my mission has always been to bring raw value to the stories and systems that matter.
Today, I am thrilled to say that no matter the struggles I have undergone, I am back up. We can never stay down when carrying a vision of this magnitude for a time such as this.
I bring you the next chapter of our mission: Connect World TV is back reloaded and refined with a first-of-its-kind vision that unites community, communication, and collaboration.
We are built entirely on a bottom-up approach. For too long, mainstream media has looked from the top down, acting as the mouthpieces of governments. Yet a journalist’s true duty is to focus on the nobodies the vulnerable and the voiceless. Without these very people, politicians would have no one to serve.
We are the home of the voiceless, the marginalized, the activists, and the patriots across various nations who are fighting for justice those who are hastily labeled xenophobic, Afrophobic, or ungovernable so that politicians and their funders can continue their injustices.
We are here to change that.
We are turning the system upside down.
Our journalists put pen to paper and pick up the microphone to report for the people, taking their outcry seriously. We will never feed you state narratives; we will give you the truth as it is.
The South African Constitution and our journalistic heritage were built on activism. We walk in the legacy of journalists who reported the truth no matter the cost, knowing that an inability to stand firm is exactly what keeps leaders unaccountable.
What We Offer Right Now, And What’s Coming Next
In 2019, we launched the first-of-its-kind Connect World TV sector news segment, “Know Your Sectors,” featuring information clips that aired just before the main news bulletin. You can track this history on our website.
Today, we continue bridging the gap between verified information and real-world opportunities. Through our audio-visual news clips and our upcoming revamped monthly magazine another first of its kind launching this July in English, Zulu, and Afrikaans, we bring you sector-specific news alongside permanently dedicated pages.
