On 15 July, the March and March Movement, led by Jecinta Ngobese-Zuma, issued a formal statement to the public through its newly appointed National Spokesperson, Mr. Dube.

March and March has been at the forefront of the fight against illegal immigration, fraudulent documentation, and crime, while advocating for South African citizens. To strengthen this work, the movement partnered with Insizwa Nobunsizwa and LACO – organizations also committed to fighting the capture of state resources.

According to the movement, since this unity was formed, illegal foreign nationals have begun leaving, job opportunities have started opening, and crime has reduced.

Tensions arose after Ndabandaba, leader of Insizwa Nobunsizwa, announced a deadline for illegal foreigners to leave the country. A national march was subsequently held across several provinces.

Just before that, Ndabandaba and Ngizwe Mchunu held a private meeting with President Ramaphosa. Jecinta Ngobese-Zuma was not present.

In a press briefing, Ndabandaba said it was not in his power to invite Jecinta as he was invited. When asked by the media if she was aware of the meeting or its discussions, Jecinta stated she was not.

This sparked allegations of division between March and March and Ndabandaba, and further claims that Ndabandaba may have received money from the President.

Following these developments, March and March released an official statement addressing its followers.
