I am reaching out because I believe I may be one of hundreds of people who have lost money through a business opportunity called MyRides, and I urgently need help bringing attention to what happened.

On 11 October 2025, I was approached by a sponsor/representative of MyRides whom I trusted. I was assured that it was a legitimate business and that if I invested, I would receive substantial returns over approximately six months. Different investment packages were offered at different prices and with different promised returns.

At the time, I did not realise that the people promoting the investment were not registered financial service providers, and I genuinely believed what I was being told.

I joined a WhatsApp group with hundreds of other investors who had received similar promises. I personally invested R5,360, but I have never received my promised returns or recovered my money.

The main person communicating with the group was Alex Andile Ndlovu. For months, he held almost daily Zoom meetings, often from around 8:00 PM until 11:00 PM, including weekends. Members were pressured to attend and were told that failing to do so could affect their payment.

During these meetings, we were repeatedly shown presentations about the business, its success and its plans to financially empower South Africans. However, despite these assurances, members continued waiting for their money.

Eventually, dozens and then hundreds of people began demanding their money back. Many struggled to receive clear answers. I have remained in contact with numerous other members, and based on the amounts people have reported investing, we believe millions of rand may have been collected collectively.

At the same time, Ndlovu has continued displaying what appears to be a wealthy lifestyle on social media, including expensive homes and vehicles, while many investors remain unpaid.

I am 59 years old, and although R5,360 may not seem like a large amount to some people, it is money I worked hard for and could not afford to lose. The situation has caused me enormous stress. I have experienced episodes of dangerously high blood pressure, been repeatedly unwell, and suffered many sleepless nights worrying about how I can recover my money.

I am reaching out to ConnectworldTV because I do not know where else to turn. I believe there are many others who may have been affected, and I would like this matter to be properly investigated and brought to the attention of the public and, if appropriate, the relevant authorities.

I have bank statements, WhatsApp screenshots, communications and other supporting evidence available. I am also in contact with other affected members who may be willing to provide their evidence and tell their stories.

I am not asking you to simply take my word for it. I am asking for the opportunity for the evidence to be investigated and for us to finally get answers.
